The hospital has been like a saloon with revolving doors, nurse in-nurse out, doctor in-doctor out… It is hard to rest when you’re asked questions every few minutes. But we’re very thankful because the staff has been great. Going home tomorrow will be a shock to the system (where did the staff go?!).
Zailey is a pretty little girl. She gets so many compliments on how pretty she is. It’s making us wonder how ugly we are because everyone seems so shocked we had such a pretty girl. Gryffin is a bruiser of a boy. He has a nice block-head. They are both eating and sleeping, as babies are prone to.
Going home tomorrow will be daunting. First there is the whole hospital checkout circus, which is triple, with mom, baby and other baby. That double stroller sure will come in handy! Once we get home, we have the challenge of introducing the dogs to the kids (or maybe the other way around). Either way someone (Stu) is going to feel bummed that mom and dad brought home yet another untrained animal.
And of course, here is the picture montage:

Jesse formula feeding Zailey wth Gryffin sleeping behind him. We’ve had to supplement with formula because their weights dropped a little too quickly and my milk hasn’t come in yet…

Yay! They are so sweet and cute! Glad things are going well at the hospital and hope it all goes well when you get home!
So cute! C
OK - not sure what happened to the rest of hte message... Congrats to you all and hope the going home goes OK! It is scary, I agree - I have felt totallly unqualified both times to take home such a tiny, delicate creature - let alone two!!
Congratulations guys! You look like pros already. We had to supplement with Ella in the beginning, too. Hope things are going well at home - and don't despair, things will get easier.
Congratulations on those beautiful little babies =) Kristin, you look every bit the part of radiant new mom... and Jesse the proud Papa. Miss you guys and wish you and the rapidly growing family all the best!
