So, for the 4th of July, the Portle side of the family gathered in Atlanta for our annual get together. This of course meant we had to fly the kids to Atlanta. Here's my current assessment of flying with children under one.
--It only gets harder!
But, I have to admit we have pretty good kids. They aren't totally quiet, but they do ok. Unfortunately, they decided that this was the week that strange people were not ok, so playing "pass the baby" was not an option. We did manage to eat out quite a bit. Here are the kids at an Italian restaurant. I like it because Gryffin is totally paying attention but true to Zailey, she's doing her own thing!
The one thing we weren't expecting was Gryffin's fear of the bathtub. We tried to get a few bath time pictures, but failed miserably because Gryffin went HULK MAD!!!!. Zailey, however, loved it.
Zailey did manage to get a ride from Papa at one point and seemed to enjoy it as long as she couldn't see either of us.
Uncle Mike and Aunt Tracy did a great job trying to entertain the babies. But Mike is convinced that Tracy had a huge advantage with the babies because she looks like me and more importantly sounds almost exactly the same. Don't be fooled - babies never make it that easy!
So, not only has stranger anxiety set in, so has the jealousy factor. Stealing toys is now a favorite passtime of both kids...
Gryffin won!

So much double cuteness! They are getting so big! Z's hair is getting so dark, and I think T has jammies with the same fish pattern as G's sweatshirt. Glad all is well there!
Wait til you fly when they are 2 (almost 3)... whee...
