I can't believe that October is almost over! Gamma has been out twice this month to help out while Jesse has been traveling. Here she is playing patty cake x2. Only Gryffin has become quite the baby model. Whenever the camera comes out, he makes sure he is looking right you and smiling really big.
Since Papa is a Physics teacher, we thought it would be fun if we taught the kids to say "F=ma" for him. Only whenever we ask them to say it "on command" - they just smile and giggle. Instead, they choose to say it at the strangest times. For example, I'm was laying with Gryffin and Zailey after he woke up from a nightmare and Gryffin whispers to me..."Papa, F equals M A." Yes, he says it, but only while he's half asleep!
Given how much the kids love the train, we've been trying to take Caltrain a little more lately. As it turns out one of Zailey's favorite dress up outfits is a train conductor.

We've also reached the "I pick my own outfit stage." This pajama top and sunglasses are Gryffin's favorite combination.
But, sometimes, just sometimes, Zailey will let me pick the outfit...AND...do her hair. I just love this picture - my only proof it can happen!
Despite being super busy with work, we're trying to be better about getting out and about - it can be so easy just to hold up in the house with all of our familiar toys and surroundings. But, the other night we went to the circus (a small travelling circus that set-up in a parking lot about 20 minutes away). The kids seemed to really like it - particularly Gryffin.
But, Zailey has very sensitive hearing and was either covering her ears or having me cover them the whole night.
Gryffin seems to be getting better and better at the guitar. Here is his "Old MacDonald/Dinah Blow your horn" rendition.
But he will share the guitar every once and awhile. Here's Papa making Vinnie the bear play guitar - Gryffin LOVED it!

awwww. they're such cuddle bugs. i love the vid of G and the guitar. especially how he's nearly braining Z with it as he rocks out!
